YWAM training teaches you to explore and share your faith. A wide variety of specialized training programs equip students with skills that can be applied in many situations to share the love of Christ and participate practically in missions. Our introductory course, the Discipleship Training School (DTS), is offered in many nations and languages and is a unique opportunity to focus on building your relationship with God and discover new opportunities to work with Him. Such DTS’s are being offered at both Amsterdam and Heidebeek (Heerde) locations in the Netherlands.
Training is a key to equip people and multiply effective missionaries and the furthering of missions at many levels. Because of YWAM’s vision and mission, to know God and to make Him known, we believe in developing the potential in people and the gift and calling of God on someone’s life.
YWAM is offering training in many different formats – from one-day seminars, courses to full-time schools in 12 week modules. In the Netherlands many of our programs are bi-lingual (English/Dutch).
Many YWAM training programs are internationally registered with YWAM’s University of the Nations. In its style of education, the U of N is both formal and non-formal. Formal elements of schools (studies, grades, and lectures) and the non-formal elements (prayer, worship, work duties, and outreach) are integral part of our training programs. Learning happens inside and outside the classroom, in a ‘live-learn’ environment, usually at any of our locations/bases. YWAM offers training in over 600 locations around the world.
