Where does the money come from?

YWAM is a non-profit agency. For the normal ‘operational’ expenditures, the facilities used by our teams, roughly three categories of income are available: 1. Participant/student fees (includes tuition and also room & board); 2. Staff fees (room/house rent from staff who live in YWAM facilities); 3. Voluntary donations/gifts from friends of YWAM (individuals, churches). Other sources of income are:  inheritances, specific project funds, rental of property/facilities to third parties.

YWAM does not pay any salaries. Each staff volunteer is responsible for his/her own income – usually generated through a personal groups of friends and/or sending (home) church.
